In my humble opinion , Cahill and Fellaini in midfield just doesn't work. But at the moment a lack of bodies requires it that way.

I think Fellaini is harshly criticised, if we were winning things wouldn't be looking so bleak.I think he is a confidence player, but £15m is a bit steep for an unproven player. Even his potential is sadly not showing at the moment.

That's the point I was trying to make earlier when FaddyTheRed said Fellaini should be dropped. If we're gonna drop people for under-performing at present then we'd have to field a 5-a-side team.

Defend all game for a hard fought 0-0 then lose to a Rooney long range shot in the last few minutes that the keeper really should have done better with.

Thats getting behind the lads eh.

I don´t care if we do as long as the preformance is better ,I remeber last year before the United game ,then the season changed from there. With a few bodys coming back you never know .

Seemed easier to play better against Wolves, Bolton etc etc which we didnt do.

Playing "better" is going to be a lot harder against the current league champions than it was against all them mentioned.

Damage limitation IMO. We were spanked by Benfica....Man United are a far better team than Benfica and we get opened up by any team that can knock 5 passes together.

The same as last season before we played united as I said.+ we´hope (please god )to have Neville and Pienarr back

Oh God I hate this fixture. It just sits on the calendar like a boil that I'd dearly love to pick off. The bleeding is worth it. Anything to not have to put up with an hour and a half of tension, followed by humiliation and then bitterness. Hate it.

Thing is we got battered at West Ham and still won.
If Mancs have a shooting day like Hammers did, getting well beaten isn't nailed on by any stretch.
Also a good fixture to get any returning players some match time. No high expectations or pressure. Just plenty of running. Stand up and be counted boys, you never know.

The away ones not so bad all the pressures on them .We have to hassle them chase every ball and get into them onto them dont let them settle .
