Essentially the other clubs need to all come together and present a case and start working out a way to protest and make the PL’s life difficult. Some actual journalists (not the AI using cretins we have now) need to do some in depth investigation into the league and where money is really coming from.

The PL stuff that has done Everton and is going on with City is PSR which was brought in in 2013 and FFP was brought in in 2009 a year after City were bought out. They were also one of the clot trying to splinter off to the Super League. They are absolutely the same as the other clubs you mentioned

For me the whole "City are cheats" is a red attiutude that many have swallowed.
If you want City punished, then you want the same red cartel to have all the power, and to continue to dictate the game.
I can see your point but at first glance sympathising with City as a victim is a big ask
They are a symbol of the "victims" = Us, Newcastle, Forest, Villa or anyone wanting to win trophies again.
They have the backing/finances to crush these "rules" that have been put in place to STOP anyone even thinking of challenging those that want it all for themself.
If City get done, then we all might as well just pack up and never bother again, dont dream, its gone.

Your broader point is correct though, the league is rigged to protect the sky money spinners/product. I just disagree City are the mechanism to challenge it.
I think they are possibly the ONLY ones who can push change, as they are in a position of power, they are huge now, absolutely massive, and the prem need them more than ever.

I get that they are not doing it for the good of everyone, but it sets a president, it opens up the rules as unfair / un-just so we can all then challenge them.

If the rules were removed we’d be competing against 2 nation states and insane spenders like United and Chelsea. We’d never finish even close to top 4 in a generation. Only chance would be if they all joined their super league.
The rules need properly refined and enforced. People don’t like to hear it but Liverpool have been managed well, they’ve not made crazy signings and have been able to remain competitive without resorting to selling hotels to themselves and such like.
If we properly manage ourselves, with a new stadium, we at least have a tiny chance rather than none at all.
