3 at the back isn’t for us.
Marco seems to be still figuring us out BUT there are a lot of complaints about our record against the top 6 but when you think about it how many of our players start for any of those teams. Even Arsenal who have been outside the top 4 spent hudge on 2 strikers. It’s the teams below us that we need to beat and we haven’t done that in the past few weeks.

Christmas soon lads so:
New right back
New centre mid
New wide forward
New centre forward

But who?

city, utd, rs and chelsea away, we've created chances and good chances at that at all 4 so not clinical enough. we have also shot ourselves in the foot in various ways with the goals conceded. Still plenty to like about this season, it could be better of course, but doesn't deserve the cry arsing witnessed on here today
You can smell the urine soaked bed sheets already.

End of the day guys, we were beaten by a much better side away from home. It's frustrating as it's pretty much followed the same script as the other big away games but no need to lose our heads over it. Another big game against Spurs next but we've still yet to play one of the better sides at home so I wouldn't write us off just yet for that game.

That said, would be happy to see Lookman and DCL come in. Coleman is proving to be a weak link again so I wonder what Silva makes of JJK,
Beaten by arguably the best side in the league - unless you're a bin rummager from across the park. Add to that, they were at home and needed a bounce back.

Even without some of their best players on the pitch, they're a gulf ahead of us and most other teams so it is what is. Obviously, it's never nice to lose...

but the results against Newcastle and Watford were far more frustrating, if not painful, than today.

Outplayed, Outclassed as expected. Thing is we had 2 glorious chances with Rico (1st Half) Walcott and a very decent chance with Rico in the 2nd half.
Not just this game but we do not dominate in midfield and we squander far too many chances. Positive is we still create chances. Turn them chances into goals and we have a different story. Lookman and Walcott looked dangerous when they came on. Man City showed class with the 2 headed goals by splitting our CB's but more clinical is the accuracy of those crosses. Aimed and not just punted in the general vicinity.

We have been beaten by the most clinical footballing side the PL has known yet we still could have easily came away with an undeserved draw at least.
