well i haven't, and I can't until we play city using the exact same formation.

so please don't chat crap.
You're talking about playing Jagielka and Williams, both terrible footballers, and your logic is it worked against a Solvakian no-mark team.

Have a word with yourself.

i think you need to have a word with yourself if you think jagielka and williams are both "terrible footballers".
They really are. You think any of the teams we're trying to finish above will be wanting to go to their rivals grounds with them two at the back?

But, hey, we beat some Slovakian team nobody had ever heard of. I'm sure the most expensive team in Premier League history will be a walk in the park.

Those two defenders are probably the two most experienced defenders in this league. Williams had a bloody fantastic match against Split. over 110 international caps combined. 4 cleansheets for williams already this season. There is a reason why Koeman opted for 3 at the back away in Europe. There is no such thing as an easy away match in Europe no matter who the opposition is. Look at what happened when we played Kiev a few seasons ago.

You probably know better than both me and the manager though.

Koeman took Williams off against Stoke because it wasn't working! But ok.

As I said, have a word with yourself.

we played stoke at home.... your making yourself look like an idiot now

im talking about playing 3 at the back away from home
Stoke, who are currently beating Arsenal.

You're using your warped logic on the basis of it worked against some team from Slovakia

The two of them in the same defence is asking for trouble. Every sane person knows this.

what has stoke beating arsenal got to do with anything

your saying playing 3 at the back against city won't work because jagielka and williams are rubbish and your highlighting the fact that we played 3 at the back against stoke at home to re-iterate your point

3 at the back against stoke didn't work for many reasons, 1 being that it should never have been utilised in the first place at home to any team, never mind stoke, and second we had calvert lewin playing as the right wing back

there were many flaws in that game

i personally believe we need to play 3 at the back against city and jagielka and williams are not terrible defenders as you put it, it was effective when we played 3 at the back away to ruzemberok and as i said before winning any away match in europe is tough never mind keeping a clean sheet.

I'm feeling strangely optimistic about this game.
Don't do it mate, it only hurts more x

It's like watching my two personalities have a go before every game
