Besic is injured. Think McCarthy's out too. We also won't leave out our main striker. Apart from that I agree with you.

I know mate, and whilst I was exaggerating I would be tempted to go for 5 at the back. Realistically you want Barry and McCarthy snapping peoples heels and Del, Rom, and probably Lennon up top.

I knew you were mate, I'd go with the back three as well. Is McCarthy back? would be a massive boost if he is.

We lose 1-0 after extra time and it's still 1-0 city win correct?
Yes. Away goals only come into play after 120 minutes.

1-0 to them takes it into ET. If it were to stay that way it'd be 2-2 with the, having one away goal and us having none, thus them winning.

Let's just get a goal and make it interesting, tbh.

I just need to check the following scenarios, forgive me if this has already been mentioned but cant be bothered going through all the threads.

Any type of draw we are through
Any win for us we are through
Citeh 1-0 AET they win on away goal
Cites 2-1 AET Penalties

Is this correct?

I think that's right mate.

13.5 In the Semi-Final ties, if the aggregate score is level at the end of the second game an extra half-hour shall be played. If the aggregate scores are still level at the end of extra time the tie shall be decided by goals scored away from home counting twice. If the teams remain equal after this procedure the tie shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the Laws of Association Football.

- i.e. if it's 1-0 City after extra time the overall score will be worked out as 3-2 to them and they win (as their away goal counts twice).
