I used to think these were the best group of players I've ever seen at Everton. Turns out late 1994-1996 still takes that honour - and their nickname was 'The Dogs of War' :/
2006-2007 team had a better attitude too....scrap that...every team under moyes had more bottle than those rich kids did tonight. Never been so numb or bored of an Everton season ....horrible.

Play held up at 89:10 and 5 mins injury time was showing.

You're correct. We should have built a wall around our penalty area to stop the ball getting into our box.

No. More like some sort of plan to be able to go and score again if the inevitable happened.

Kone for del and no Lennon is hoping we don't concede too many.

Lady Luck didn't help us tonight, but city best team on the night. But there was almost an inevitability that we would concede. Oh how we missed besic' bite in midfield. Osman and cleverley shouldn't be near the first team for a while after their performance. 7th time we have conceded 3 goals or more in a match this season. Martinez won't even have a cup to save him now. Time for him to go.

For once, injustice was the reason we lost. Decent performance, otherwise. We should be through.
What revisionist pony is this?

We conceded three goals. Only one was down to the injustice you refer to.
We scored once, and never looked like scoring at all in the second half.
Take away that injustice and we're now in extra time, not looking like scoring... the two other goals we conceded are a HUGE factor - twice the factor, you might say than the one goal that should have been disallowed.
