Not particularly. No one is saying that Lescott is worth 22 million. I said at the time we were paying a good 5-10 million over the asking price.

What did he do so well for you that he isn't for us? I'm not being sarcastic I genuinely want to know why he was such a good player for you.

He never lost duels, against anyone. One on one, in the air or on the ground, he was bigger and stronger than whoever he was against.

His position sense, marking, and the way he and Jags worked was a great partnership...the way like Terry and Carvalho, Ferdinand and Vidic work well - they just read each other and covered each other.

He ended up being surprisingly efficient at left back in the 1st season because he was like a freight-train bombing down the wing when he could. He was a rock solid defender at left back and usually popped up with a few goals hitting the far post. He's not a proper wing back though, but a very good left back - which are different.

He's also got a top draw heading ability, scored a fair few goals too when he got the space Cahill didnt fill on corners.

Also, Moyes had a lot to say about. He built a rock solid back four with him in, kept a [Poor language removed] load of clean sheets (think a club record at one point, but some record got broken).

Lescott's gone over to Citeh under Hughes who seemed to think about defense last and it doesnt look like him and Toure work well. Mancini's come in, sorted that out and the team is less gung-ho and conceading less...and while Lescott's been out.

But funny enough he's been getting injuries. He never missed a game in 2 seasons for us....bit strange.

I am so looking forward to giving you another lesson on wednesday, our hard work and diligance will quickly frustrate your mercenaries, and when it's not going your way and ego's take over then we will slay you. bellendamy has never come up against anyone like Johnny H, when he crunches him and the hunchbacked bag of jizz loses his rag, J.H. will destroy the little shithouse.

You didn't watch him much then. He got caught out so often.

When he went through his [Poor language removed] period he did, I remember making a post about how surprised I was that he got done in about three one v ones in a certain game. Apart from that spell when he was terrible, when he was reminded to go 'back to basics', I can't recall many times when he was beaten for pace or strength and a player got past him with the ball.

I think a lot of you are under estimating us. Away we are poor but we are completely different at home. Our home record is as good as United's and Chelsea's. We are the only team in the league who have not lost at home all season.

Didnt Witsel for Liege tear him a new arse-hole last season for the Europa League qualifier? Proper embarrassed him.

Agreed, that was when he was terrible, pretty much from the start of the season to around Christmas of last season he was poor.
