After the initial outrage at the partial video of the incident at the airport last week, additional footage has been released showing events immediately prior to the previously released footage.
Having been sent a link to a change.org petition this morning to have the officer re-instated, I wondered what the wise sages of GoT thought of this unfortunate incident and its effect on the image of British policing.
FWIW - unsurprisingly there is a severe racial undertone to the comments on the change.org page, however for the purposes of this poll please put race to one side and consider how you would vote if the members of the public where coked up white lads lads lads on their way back from ‘Beefa.

An ignoramus asks: What does "FAFO" mean?

Saw that after I posted, at the risk of being a bit, particular, GMP behaviour is very off topic in a Met Police thread.
I remember when this place was moderated properly, too busy flogging jigsaws and eating £25 a pop biscuits nowadays.
I think with it being a 'police'* themed thread, it seemed best to keep stories and events around everyones favourite public service in one area instead of multiple threads. There'd be no room for anything else in the end. Sadly.

Sounds like there was some sort of throw down in an airport starbucks about 10 minutes before the incident with the video. With how hyped up the duckhead in blue clearly was I'm guessing at the worst to end up with armed officers sent to haul one of those lads in - the one in grey.
I'm shocked and appalled that the officers at the scene left her to take the brunt of that, like watching the end of Serpico. Shameful awful disgusting behaviour. I fully expect those lads and I think it's two of em, to both get jail time. The severity of the penalty for the civilians will I reckon be tied to the severity of what happens to Rambo. I reckon the other police are probably going to get off lightly. Back when I was capable, had blue shirt done that in front of me I'd have folded him into that car park pay point machine with one swift side kick. Knowing my luck, that'd be when the shotguns turned up and I got blasted all over the ceiling.

Saw that in the other thread, GMP have set up the appeal for footage of 3 incidents within about 30mins of each other apparently. The Starbucks one, one at baggage reclaim and the head kick / stomp one.
½ expecting them all to be the same protagonists tbh.
