With the exception of whatever went on at man United, I think he's always been very protective of his players and tried to deflect any pressure onto himself. Imagine saying a 2 time champions league winner, a la liga winner, a serie A winner and 3 time PL winner isn't good enough for Everton. Unbelievable.

2 wins in 11 games. Out against Millwall in the fa cup. Out against Southampton in the league cup. The run before them 11 games wasn’t great aswell.

We’ve just lost to the team placed 19th in the league below and we are in the bottom half after spending more than we’ve ever spent.

Correct - we have a bunch of no mark players who were paying eye watering wages to

Signing top clubs’ mistake signings or deadwood and expecting them to make us a top club.

Or relegated players or players from bottom half teams. It’s ok to do for the odd players like RS with Robertson or Leicester with Maguire but not half your team.

I’d rather buy players who didn’t think they were elite and had the passion to push themselves and achieve things rather than shirking it
