Its torture to watch and deal with but we know it was going to be a long term project but hopefully he'll get the brain in gear and try stuff to get the players going :) His another Mr Nice Guy who has decided who's cool or not and when their form is off continues to play them :-( Baby Martinez :-( An evil Vidic defensive coach to help him would be good

I'd rather get Wenger in than mourinho.

We've got to stick now though, I have no strong feelings either way on Silva but poor as we have been for protracted period now if you don't give time to turn it around no one will ever turn it around. In manager terms time is years not months to build a squad and team playing a system perfectly.

New manager in summer equals new system equals player errors as they adjust equals midtable and out of cup by end Jan equals new manager in summer - ad infinitum.

Unfortunately Wenger couldn't organise a defence for his last few years either, so not sure that would solve our problem.

Willing to give managers time and patience so voting out goes against this
What I can’t accept is a manager who doesn’tlearn from mistakes
Sticks with Tactics that are predictable
Sticks with Zonal marking which is embarrassing
Unable toMotivate the team
Created a team with little or No leaders/fighters

All of the above have been evident for nearly all his tenure, not changing any of the above shows how inept and unwilling he is to change

relegation form over 15 games and knocked out of the cup by relegation threatened championship side constitutes abit more than a bad run...

completely laughable. you MUST be a RS

We're all a bit frazzled, but knock it off with the kopite accusations - use the report function if you must

My point is more about mourinho though - he is a busted flush. Main point is not about either of them. At some point you have to stick, and given last 2 years chaos rightly or wrongly that means Silva gets the benefit of our need to stick for at least this and next season (short of being bottom at Christmas obviously).

We can't just sack our way out of trouble. Clearly, Silva and his team of coaches are not coaching defensive set pieces well and as a consequence we are too easy to play against. However, a continuous churn of both playing and coaching staff rarely works (of course there are exceptions) and is, in part, how we have ended up with a squad with no identity or sense of belonging. That's not a free pass for Silva, and the next two games will tell us an awful lot about how this season will shape up, but we have to have a long term plan and we have to give that plan time.
