These days management is a young man's game preferably under 50 so they can relate to the players.
Keep them for four years then move them on as by that time the players have stopped listening to what they have to say.

Pardew is getting worse with every appointment, several teams dodged a bullet when he went to the Baggies.
Hard to see where he goes from here, maybe the Championship have a couple of clubs that would see him as a prestige appointment.

Bit much to expect Pardew to turn things around in the time allotted and with the squad he had.

I mean. He's no Sam Allardyce!

Surely the end of Conte if they lose this today. 10 points behind Tottenham who also have a game in hand.

LOL as I type this they go 2-0 down.

Well that’s the season over and done with, there’s sure to be plenty of movement on this front.

I think Conte will be first to go after their display today. Even if he wins the FA cup I can’t see him staying. A strange character who seemed to be fighting against Chelsea’s hierarchy from day one.

It's shocking how these same old managers keep getting gigs at decent teams (when I say 'decent' I mean top division). They have somehow forged a reputation for being able to perform at this level, but seem to underperform every time. So weird. If only younger managers were trusted to keep teams in the division, as that's what about 50% of all teams merely want to achieve.

Rumour that Zinidene Zidane being lined up for Man U.
This cropped up during pre season a couple of times when Jose would'nt stop whinging, it would be interesting no doubt. Zidane is very much a 'go out and show me what you can do' type of manager by all accounts rather than spending loads of time practicing drills and moves on the training ground. I also see there is some talk that United are after Monchi for a DOF role, that should be enough to push Mourinho over the edge i would think.

I think the actual bosses of United are looking to out him, personally.
