@GwladysBlue - if ever there was a time to be negative I think now is a great time to be.
We've got 4 home games now to try and stop the rot.

I just can't be arsed with another season of watching what I have for the past decade.

I'm 24 years old, and I've seen absolutely nothing. I just want to see a bit of effort.

Even when we spend money, we're still crap.

Finally!!! Someone else calling it right.

Far too many people here thinking he can do no wrong.

No I just think you and him are wrong and the people saying he was probably our best player today have got over there bitterness and support him as an Everton player now but will still say so when he has a bad game.

Totally different game if Rooney or Gylfi score, and a huge mistake then gifted them the win. Hadjuk aside that was our best performance of the season, im not getting downbeat about that scoreline as it flatters them massively. We'll smash the next 4 at home and build some momentum, COYB.
That's what I'm hoping for mate

Davies, Rooney and Martina were our best performers. I think Koeman needs to drop some of our so called better players. Schneiderlin should be on the bench for the next game, he's offered nothing in the last few games. Keanes confidence is shot so may need a few games out.

It all went wrong when Davies, Rooney and Gana went off didn't it
For me, it all went wrong when Williams did something completely stupid (2-0) we could not clear a poor Lukaku free kick (3-0) and Schneiderlin left his arm behind for a pen (4-0).

Seven minutes of hell. Nothing much Rooney, Davies or Gana could have done to prevent it.

He was really bad today though. Look beyond the balls to Martina and you’ll see just how bad he was.

He’s really not very good and he certainly isn’t the saviour to take us forward.

Man you are so unreasoned. No way are they sitters when the goalie is basically on top of him.
Rooney in the early 90's......still in his nappies wasn't he. Leave your bitterness behind and accept he is now an Everton player and one of our best currently.

Not unless a 10 year old wears nappies were you live, ok the late 90`s then possibly even 2001......

You need to get off the `giggle juice` .... Rooney can`t play more than 45 minutes he is finished ...

No one is saying he is our saviour and we know his best days are behind him. He is unfortunately still outshining most of our team currently and had a good game today. Have a look at the motm poll and quite a few agree. If you compare him to the younger Rooney then he is not a patch on him but still one of our better players and while he wears the bluer shirt I will not hold any bitterness towards him.

Got foward into good positions (unlike baines )

Baines stopped doing that about 3 years ago. Hardly gets past the half way line nowadays. Yet another of the old guard who needs desperately replacing.

Harsh scoreline in the end considering we at least tried, but the result was never in question. We offered little again, despite having a decent amount of possession.

I said to my dad today, I don't know if prefer playing ok like today and still losing or getting a proper beating like the last few games.

In the end we had both today. FFS EVERTON.

I still have a tiny weeny bit of positivity in me. We'll still finish 7th. Doubt we'd get any higher as that would entail actually beating the teams above us which we simply can't do.
