Match Thread Man Utd V Everton. Sun 3 Aug - 22:00 BST

Much better performance tonight and a deserved point for us. Whilst we got extremely lucky with that own goal, we played quite well and looked like a team that could offer something to a match when playing in a back four.

Two things annoyed me: the referee and the commentators. Both seemed to favour Man Utd (what's new there?) The referee ignored multiple fouls and Barry's injury, with the commentators never missing an opportunity to hype up a fairly average Man Utd side.

On a side note, that stadium is superb, besides the pitch and of course the red seats. I liked the steepness of the stands, which you could see when the camera angle behind the goal was shown, and the quite unique roof was a sight to behold as well. Personally I think it is a much better stadium than the MetLife, where next year's World Cup final is set to be held.

I'm going to bed now.

But just a quick one.

This is good. They're not things we can't control and not going to face most of the time. Let it woosh over your head.

Up the Toffees.

We were rubbish...team performance 4/10..
na, I thought we did well.
It's clear that he wants to play 4 at the back and we look much more comfortable.
I thought we had slightly the better of the first half,
Never a penalty. I thought they were poor bar a couple of slick passes.
It all changed after 60 when tark had to be taken off and we had to go 3/5 at the back,
Mount is a great player and the squad difference was huge
But even our threadbare bench did well,
Wasnt pretty but I saw the bones of a team there,
I thought Gana did great and liked Tim further forward.
Also like Armstrong.
Good way to end the tour.
Branthwaite back and some quality signings and we'll be fine.
I do worry about the striker department. You get what ya pay for.

MetLife is a horrible stadium in all respects. Never been here before today and was wowed. But it’s a turf field for NFL and they have to improve the grass pitch.
