Personally I'm pleased with the performance. It took a penalty to beat us (and that challenge was unnecessary given that Hibbo would have tackled Carrick) so that's the defence sorted. The same players again meant there was an excuse (tiredness) for maybe a lack of a cutting edge. Even so, there was some nice work down the left between Stevie and Leighton, and if Leighton's crossing had been better (or he had carried on goalwards and waybe won a penalty) we would have had more genuine chances in the first half.
If we can get some young, quality strikers and keep the team together (and the manager of course!) I can see us being a real force within the next two years. I didn't expect anything out of this game after the penalty and was comforted by the fact it meant the RS lost even more ground!

Just like to say if Arteta had not fouled carrick. Hibbert would have taken both his legs off with that sliding tackle. If it happened the ref would have still given a pen and Hibbert a red card for being last man.
