and big respect to everyone who was confident of the win today, which was about 90% of people on here. That's exactly what we need, that whole attitude from the fans and club building up to the game is what wins you matches such as these.

I thought we had 0% lad simply because when I have been alive everytime Everton fans have been confident we NEVER won. FA Cup final, Liverpool many many times.

Don't you just love big Rom

This is all amazing. When I look back to those dark days after wembley last year and Wigan this march, it's nights like this why I was insistent on a change.

I think it reflects well on us as a fan base too, so many of us saw that the team we had was actually good and needed just a few bold additions and importantly a change in attitude and tactics to compete and we've been proved right.

It was dark times and I vowed if there was no change this summer I wasn't returning as the enjoyment was gone. I'm now going to get a half season ticket and then a full one next season and actually enjoy it.

It is a very good time to be a blue.

Sorry if this has been posted lads

It's enough to get you all teared up.

I ****ing love this club. These players get it, and this manager gets it. The sky is the limit.

Moyes built the foundations but Martinez has unleashed the beast there's a swagger about this side a resilience it's like the Everton defensive unit of season 2012-2013 added with the attacking slickness of the Barcelona team of the same year haha were going to see something special this season I really feel it we've been up there for past few years n just needed a 25 goal a season striker which we now have, a self belief which we now have and a manager who wasn't afraid to go for it which we now have , Martinez wasn't everyone's first choice but the guy is EVERTON

Watch the replay of the goal.

Watch Coleman celebrating in front of the six yard box, he literally hasn't got a clue what to do. Pure unbridled joy.

I could just keep watching this replay over and over

lol...I was watching Seamus as well...so funny...unbridled joy . I have watched the goal at least 20 times...fabulous build up from Kev's free kick attempt.
Jags was massive tonight but so was pretty much all the senior pros (and I include McCarthy in that despite his age). Oviedo is awesome. Ross? not so much tonight, same with Gerard...but who cares we won...WE WON!!!

PS At midday(!)got into the office I share with my Manc mate. He was lying on the sofa in despair. Fair do's though, he was complimentary toward Everton, more worried I think about the Titanic impersonations that Man U is putting on this season.

you are right there mate, and he had my respect for it and best wishes when he moved on. However, anybody who builds a house, departs it and then returns in an attempt to undermine those same foundations loses my respect.
