funny how opinions vary.(y)

but i cant remember n'zogbia getting past him once.
he and pienaar were almost unplayable going forward and got so many freekicks i lost count.
couple of stray passes, his and ossies individual cock up's at the same time gifted wigan their goal, one on one marking he was poor and his set pieces usually aren't good. Agreed, going forward he was excellent but for a defender he should be preventing goals before he makes them, he should be on the left wing and pienaar on the right til Billy gets established!

Yobo was my stand out player today I thought he looked very composed Distin had a similarly impresive game and Rodwell was very solid in midfield.

I'm most surprised by the Yobo votes...well, and the Billy one (come on now!). The poor guy just scares me any time he gets near the ball and we're under pressure and, after all these years, he never fails to have at least one absolute howler of a clearance...today, the one where he fell down while heading away and nearly gifted them one.

Nothing against him really, he's consistent (in bad and good ways)...he just scares me any time we're under pressure. It's like he's got a panic button on him somewhere and, for some reason or another, someone in the stands pushes it just to have a laugh.

This one is a laydown.

With all due respect to Rodwell, Tony Hibbert was easily MoM. And I do mean "easily."

1) Hibbert
2) Rodwell
3) Yobo (had an excellent match)

because of the comment i never thought id utter

'his movement is causing them murder'

Fellani

Closley followed by rodwell and yobo

Thought Rodwell was very good, I didn't think he'd be ready to be starting games, but hes stood up and impressed.

Pienaar was himself, really, went through the wars a bit, but didnt do too much of note.

Hibbert was much improved, he was playing like that midway through last season. Long may it continue

Neville impressed me, distribution was good. Good few tackles.

I like how Distin is playing out of defence, much better distribution than Yobo

Fellaini was very good coming on, Impact sub is probably a role we should stick him with for the time being (he's only 21 ffs, the same as Vaughan and Anichebe)

Jo good coming on as well, he links up very well with fellaini (as seen after the pen)

My mom was Rodwell though

My thoughts anyway:P

I was not at Goodison today, have seen no live footage, will miss MOTD2 later this night, and listened when I could on the radio to events, no Sky Sports for me, so I can't really say who was best man today, (feeling sheepish), Rodwell got mentioned a lot, Fellaini was talked about, Pienaar had some decent involvement from what I could gather, Moyes did his part on the touchline, sod it, Rodwell. (gulps)

You voted without seeing the game ?

I had a quick sneak on Toffee Web but no player ratings, but I remembered Rodwell got a lot of plaudits from various sources today so opted for him, I'm glad that Lescott monkey is off our shoulders, and we can move on.

I meant as in a curse not suggesting that Lescott is a peter Reid mark II
