a striker (jelavic probably) will be sacrificed to play 3 across the middle, expect neville to be brought in and possibly Naismith on the right as we revert to a flat back 4.......ouch

Being serious though, someone should just mark him all game. Someone who he can trust. But then again, they have dembele, holtby who can hurt us.

My Dad used to tell me this

'If you can't get the ball, get their legs'...

All due respect mate. You dad's idealslike many of our own will have come from Sunday league footie or thereabouts. Get his legs and he'll roll about, scream and whinge until your sent off. Then your as good as beat. We all know what sides like spurs are like for all that shoite.

I think if we could take him out the equation and make it 10 vs 10 then we've got a good chance. Nobody else stands out as being worth worrying about despite me respecting a few of their players.

Yeah ha, he used to tell me it when playing Sunday League. It worked great when I played like - there was no such thing was yellow or red cards.

I played for Stockport County for a bit and I know its not as easy as tackling him when you have the chance. We need to man mark but the person to do it, needs to be able to pay attention.
I really don't know who that person could be.

We need to be carefull that we don,t spend all of out time watching one player while another thief nips in via the backdoor over the course of the match !

They're not. Two of them are suspendedand one's as out of form as I've seen any player, ever. The other two are full backs.
bugger ! i thought they only had 1 match bans but yea your right its 2 . thats a kick in the nuts to our plans.
jelavic is out of form scoring but he is still a handfull.
and the other 2 may be fullbacks but still our best supply lines and up there with miralles for flair and attacking drive imo.

Wouldn't worry too much about Holtby, just mark him as usual and not pay too much attention, but Dembele is obviously a threat, although isn't in the best of form.

We get one chance to catch Spurs.. I say take it..
80 minutes in if we are not going to win, Neville to two footed knee high karate challenge Bale, he's out for the season, we lose 3 points and get the bonus of no Neville through suspension, but we end up ahead of spurs as they drop like a stone without Bale to carry them.
Just a contingency plan in case we are not winning near the end of the game.

Yeah mate. Both good attacking options just think we'd need a bit more to just say lets go toe to toe. If we had Pienaar and Mo I'd say lets do it.

Everyone's calling Spurs a one man team, they aren't. But, they do set up so everything goes through him and he's bang in form.

I don't doubt for a second there's managers in this league who'd be saying that to their players.

Only problem of course is the Neville has to catch Bale to do it.. leaving it with only 10 minutes to go may not be enough time.

coleman and neville doubling up on him worked previously, but he gets in more central positions now hence he is scoring more goals
