He seems to be allowed to float and not hold any kind of position. For that reason no. No point man marking.

Now this I like, if he floats let him float where ever he wants.

Just make sure he doesn't get any decent ball, or any of them for that matter, it's all about the ball, don't give it away....they can't play without the ball

did I mention ball?? that's the key

phil neville end of .keep bale quite we win simple as

Phil is not the player he was that time he DID have him in his pocket and Bale has got a little bit better and he floats about, you gonna have Phil my legs have gone neville chasing him all over the pitch??

It will be Alan Ball and the imaginary doglead all over again, only worse.

Except if the question is...who just retired.

I hate that stupid heart shape making arrogant player. I hope Seamus kicks him into next week.

And then they have Holtby, Lennon, Defoe, Sigurdsson, Dembele who are all capable of causing us problems.

You might as well name all 11, lidster. The point you seem to be making is that Bale is not that amazing and that Spurs are not a one-man team.

I disagree. Get Seamus glued on him.

Which Everton player should retire at the end of the season?

man marking someone in a free role should be the kind of a thing a player would enjoy, maybe even grow from. you got to shepard him into areas that wont hurt us. we have carried a midfielder or centre mid in enough games so why not. its not just how well he is playing it is the psychological effect. other good players in the team have started to convince themselves he will come up with something for them. might knock their momentum for rest of season. may sound cynical but not talking about kicking him off the park, just means if we are ion top of the game that it counts

Coleman. Stones at RB?

not saying an in form Spurs team are s*it, just that at the moment they don't look on form and yet are winning games cos one player cant put a foot wrong. bale could be rubbish and we are too, but if we hit form and lose to a couple of Bale toe pokes then it will be gutting
