Chelsea will run Castillo ragged.

He's definatley not up to stopping players like Lampard and Deco.

I can see where HB's coming from though. With Castillo in there Arteta gets the freedom to be the play maker like he did yesterday. Don't get me wrong he's good in the holding role aswell but I'd rather have him box to box where he can do everything.

Having Rodwell or Castillo next to him would realistically be better so he does have someone behind him who's going to stay back. When he plays with Cahill and Fellaini, Arteta has to stay back and hold his position.

I definatly want to see Saha in there though, I think he's a class act. It'll be interesting to see what Moyes does.

Mikel rarely joined attacks tbh yesterday?

He was covering Castillo too much.

He was covering Castillo too much.

He played box to box, up and down the pitch. He was as good going forward as he was defensively. He was continually linking up with Pienaar.

He got forward far more than he did against Villa and Spurs because Castillo was holding back and covering him. Castillo has his faults, no doubt about it but one thing he doesn't do is bomb forward and try and get into the box. He stays back and covers.

The likes of Cahill and Fellaini try and get forward as much as possible which means Mikel has got to cover them and hold back.

I see your point, i mean who would you drop. You could MAYBE drop Castillo, but while i feel he didnt have the best of games, he did give us some defensive cover, which allowed the rest of the midfield to push forward. Its a tough 1 for Moyes.
Sometimes, more than individual performances, you have to look at team shape. Now I didn't see the match yesterday but from what I've read on this forum and in the press, I think we may have found the right balance in the last 3 games. It really is a thin line between success and failure at this level. I hope Moyes has a clearer view than me on the difference.

Great game and another superb performance away from home. Does anyone believe Harte knew what was coming from Arteta. Bad luck on Mikels behalf on that strike. Fellaini looked impressive in the Timmie role he looks better each week. Ossie another good performance. Peanut a little hit or miss at times. Cahill what a confidence boost now to see more from him. A huge three points in the bag before Chelski.(y)
