Ignore him Dom, his type always bring people down to his level, just ignore him or treat him with the contempt he deserves, he should be banned as soon as the mods are on.

Man City - 1 (Robinho) Everton 2 - (Fellaini, Saha)

We can have these. They're pretty shocking at the back. What they do have is pace and going forward on the counter they'll kill us really. But everything from the halfway line back to their goal, they're there for the taking.

I still dont rate Steven Ireland in their midfield. He cant tackle well and the goals he's scored have gone to his head that all he does is bomb forward leaving holes in their midfield.

Robinho we all know about so Jags has to stick to him like [Poor language removed] to a shovel. Unless he's playing out on the left and moving inside, Neville will get raped. And Wright Phillips always does us (and Lescott) everytime he plays against us. Elano's set-pieces are dangerous too.

But to be fair, they aint great. If Fulham etc all, can get a point from them with their stars all fit, then if we put in the passion of yesterdays game (cutting out the mistakes) we can win it.

Fellaini will dominate this one I think. He's a monster and needs 2 players on him all the time. Citeh are a small team in height so he'll boss the air. Cahill needs to find form again and if he does will cause all kinds of problems. Saha should be fit so he can be a handful against their dodgy defence. Anichebe (who played well yesterday IMO) will give us options for later in the game -- or vice versa depending on Saha's fitness.

It was good seeing VDM get on last night. Hopefully he's got the fire to keep going because with him, Anichebe, Castillo, on the bench there's few options to change things up (4-4-2, Castillo sitting off, VDM outwide, Osman in the middle, Arteta out-wide for example, plenty of options). That's if Moyes thinks he's ready and give him a chance.

We've just gotta figure out how to break up the counter, not get too sucked in. There's was only the one time Villa did hit us on the counter in the 2nd half (which Yobo cut out) because we kept the ball well and battled. If we can do that but also not getting sucked in to their half, we can do em.

(Chico's fav time) --

Howard
Neville Jags Yobo Lescott
Osman Arteta Fellaini Pienaar
Cahill
Saha

Subs
Nash, VDM, Jukebox, Anichebe, Castillo, Baines, Gosling.

But then again we could be in the mode we were like after Florentina last year (played boss, sucker punched at the end) and end up with our heads down. That happens we'll get steam rolled 3-0.

You got Yobo and Jagielka the wrong way round :P

Ah, i love the ignore list :) - what did you say shabs?

Anyways, Man City away will be a tough one, they arent in the best of form, and neither are we. It really depends on injurys. If we have Saha i think we could get a good result. If they have Robinho and Richards back, then we will probably lose...

If we have Saha we'll cruise past these easy, his workrate upfront is immense. Probably on par with Andy Johnson except Saha can head the ball with power and finish better then AJ. we've definitely traded up in that department.

If only if he wasn't injured so often, I would go as far to say that he could be better then Yakubu up front for us. especially in a 4-5-1.
