Will take a red card for Kompany late in second half and Baines to seal it with resulting penalty 3-2 COYB

Game day, let's have it. I am so optimistic about this game, don't know why. Really think we can snatch the win, won't be easy but I reckon 1-0 or 2-1. I'd be happy with any positive result as long as we turn up and try to play football, which roberto will insist we do.

Whats our name?

The mind boggles at the formation if Mirallas and Gibson are both out.

I think he might go with something very bold if that happens and surprise a few people with his starting selections.

Got a bad feeling about today, if Osman is in CM I'm afraid we might get destroyed because Toure is going to be playing like a man possessed today.

With Gibson is in doubt and Barry not eligible we're looking very light on in the middle of the park. I know this isn't going to be a popular suggestion but I would start Heitinga in central midfield. City are going to come out desperate for a win so I don't know if I have faith in the defensive side of Osman's game to be able to stop the City midfield, can you just imagine Yaya Toure just running straight through him. I'm not trying to suggest we play defensive and put on another defender I just think that Heitinga would be better suited playing central midfield for this game over Osman.

i think we will get beaten pretty easily today, i won't mind too much though... always going to be a tough match.

Was thinking the same.

We won't concede many. We are really solid at the back. It depends on City, one day they can play gash, the next they can be like they were against United. If they are like the latter and we get beat its not because we were bad, it's because they were outstanding. We need to be up for this more than anything today. I have faith.

It could depend on who's the best tactician today. Pellegrini was rubbish v Bayern and I don't think Martinez could ever get it that wrong.

There's no way Osman will stand Yaya Toure and, anyway, he was useless on Wednesday.

I don't think Kompany can worry Lukaku physically, and unless one side has a particularly good or bad day, anything could happen.

I just hope Mirallas plays and I think Heitinga could do a job, if needed.

I've no idea how this will go but I hope City struggle with the early Saturday kick off after playing Wednesday night.

Fingers crossed.

Even if we get beat today I wont mind, because we've made a better start to the season than anyone imagined. If we turn up and nip at theirs heels all day and give it a damn good go like we know we can, that'll do for me.

Still holding out hope that Seamus will destroy Kolarov, he normally has a blinder against City.
