Gibson just sent out a tweet about watching Kevin Bridges. If he's playing tomorrow surely he should be having a kip by now if he's playing tomorrow as it's an early kick off.

We're all adults here mate, I'm sure his bed time will be soon!

Not too thrilled at the prospect of Leon Osman, in the worst form of his Everton career, trotting out against world class Yaya Toure who has started the season like a man possessed.

Still, I genuinely believe we can at least take a point tomorrow, more if lady luck is smiling down on us. We need the rub of the green, a few decisions, fans to get on their back. With Mirallas, Barkley and Lukaku we've always got a goal threat in it... but this is the real test of whether our defence is cut out for this style of play. So far we've played relatively poor teams with the exception of Chelsea, and even then they had a terrible Eto'o and useless Torres playing.

Today is the acid test. If Jagielka fannies around and passes it to Aguero and co we'll lose by loads. Come on Blues, get into these ffs!

That's probably for the gaffers benefit, he'll still be in the pub ;)

Way to rain on our parade.

Those "relatively poor teams" we have played ans remained unbeaten against?

Cardiff beat Citeh at home.....we took a point there.

Baggies won at Old Trafford.

And according to you we beat a Chelsea team of no account.

Dear, oh dear.

And BTW, Ossie has been all right this season.....he played well against Newcastle.

There is no pleasing some blokes.

Gibson doesn't seem like the most dedicated professional footballer, I wouldn't read anything into it.

Hi mate.

In the grand scheme of things, when you look at the teams on our league and the squad we have, the likes of Cardiff, West Ham, Norwich and West Brom are largely considered among the poorest teams in the league. Go and ask 10 people, and I bet 75% of them will agree with me. I don't care who Cardiff beat or what Sam Allardyce has for breakfast, that's the truth of the matter. And when things were looking shaky in pre-season in defence, were we all saying "if Jagielka does that against Carlton Cole we'll be in trouble", or were we mentioning the fact that when he comes up against the best strikers in the league we'll be screwed? This isn't an attack on the player, it's just pointing out the obvious. Don't get all offended!

And according to you we beat a Chelsea team of no account.

"With the exception of Chelsea" - did you miss that? And did you also miss out the part about their two strikers playing awfully? Thought so.

And BTW, Ossie has been all right this season.....he played well against Newcastle.

No, he's been ****, and you're very much in the minority there. I'm not even going to argue with that one.

Its enough to make your heart go.............

Citeh:
3 times old 1st Division / PL equivalent
5 times FAC Winners
3 times League Cup winners
1 ECWC
4 Charity Shields

School of Science:

9 1st Division/ Pl equivalent
5 FA Cups
0 League Cups
1 ECWC
9 Charity Shields (well...1 shared)

we don't care what the red .............

didn't realise they've been THAT successful tbh. certainly didn't know they'd won a european trophy

No, becaude you can't "argue with that one".

I rather get the impression a boy like you is much happier when we are losing so's there might be some pont to yer bitchin'.

The things is, that table doesn't really tell the tale of the difference between EFC and City pre the lottery win.

They regularly disappeared from the top flight......they were a bit of a yo-yo team and were in the third division as recently as round about the turn of the century.

United completely dwarfed and overshadowed City in a way LFC never did us even when they were at their most powerful in the late 70s and early 80s and we were hopeless (mostly).
