Yeah, and they both clearly changed their stories from the ones they told in their statements just so the prosecution's timeline stacked up. It was one of many "WHY AREN'T THEY TALKING ABOUT THIS MORE?!" moments in the documentary.

They were quality, very shrewd but always acted with dignity and respect. They put that awful lawyer of Brendan Dassey to shame, he was a disgrace.
