Giannotis was motm for me. The Greeks know how to defend and they had the game in their pocket 11 vs 11. 10 vs 11 not so much but were still superior talent wise. I think the ref will rue not giving England another penalty - maybe the assistant wanted out after half time?

I am now off to speak to my legal team as I am being sued by the refs in conjunction with this website for ref libel. Apparently they have my IP!!:(

Seriously, I would not be surprised if Giannotis is also linked with Everton tonight..

I thought he looked a good player, until he turned out to be a total bellend cheater.

Naaa, he just leveled things with the cheating ref wasting a little time. :-) Giannotis is a winner, lots of teams have looked at him. He is the type of player that even when the ref gives the game to the other team, he will continue to work to rectify the injustice. Bribed ref's nightmare.

Also noticed the England coach yelling 'Don't foul them' constantly second half instead of 'don't touch them.' If only more England coaches yell 'don't foul them' we might have done better internationally.

He didn't want them to foul because all the greek players dove left and right.

The ref could ave given 2 more penalties but didnt, england should consider taking back their money because he did such a terrible job for england!

You're full of **** with respect.

Giannotis may be a good player, but he is the biggest cheat I have seen in a long time. On par with Suarez based on the game I just watched. Continued to work? On his acting skills maybe yeah.

As for the england coach, think you will find he was still shouting the likes of 'Dont Cheat, Play the game' at the greeks. And 'Just play on'.

Why do they have to foul anyone anyway at all? Why is it so important to be so aggressive. Trust me I have watched England for a long time, the aggression and constant fouling has not helped, it has hindered. I was proud of the English coach when he told his players to stop fouling. It is a long overdue sentiment concerning the English game.

sorry meant "foul". The players wouldn't actually be fouling but the greeks would make it seem like it

Your grasp of English is way off the mark, lad. The coach meant don't be drawn in to a silly challenge because the greek squad kept diving to win fouls, he didn't mean stop kicking them he meant whatever you do don't go near them i.e jockey them.

Laughing here at a Greek chastising anyone over fiscal honesty and paying bribes.

Ive lived there dont forget and they're national sport is tax avoidance. Also played footie in the local leagues and if you touch the hairy quegs they go down like a gang of capellas.

You started eating your own donkeys yet?

Greeks have just played a set donkeys, don't know what the ref will do if they start eating them!!!

I do however concede the English have a lot to teach the greeks about tax avoidance and fiscal honesty. Well spotted ahzul.
