Would be good to send him on loan to a team like Sunderland or one of the promoted sides. I'm sure they could use a LB.

Yes , but he's been out an age it turned out to be a screw in his leg break was giving him pain so it had to be operated on - no luck for us or Ovideo Doug!

He's missed an awful lot of football over the last 18+ months, I do wonder whether he pushed himself to hard to early to get fit for the World Cup and it's created a lot of his problems.

I suspect the medical team may be just as culpable for his absence as the initial injury Joey.

For those who don't want to click the link, all it says is he's believed to have done a u-turn and plans to sign a new 5 year contract with us. He will then be loaned out to a Prem club for the 2015/16 season, with Bournemouth and Swansea possible takers.

Maybe Doug, but it was deffo a cased of a screw loose in his pinned leg, even then though they claimed it was not a big job to correct it - very unlucky!
