I found it funny that after a few good corners and free kicks, lads were saying he should replace Baines.

All kidding aside: he's decent, but **** me, there's some nonsense hype around him.

If he left, as long as a tribunal weighed Everton in with a decent compensation fee, that'd be no problem.

Totally agree, if we can keep him it would be great, and you could see him becoming Baines' successor, just hope he uses his head and realises (even just for now) with us is the best place to be.

Baines is still one of the best left backs in Europe even after a not too great a season up to now by his standards.

Baines and Pienaar were great together, just think Pienaar is finished now and will be a bit part player.
