Hey Guys,

I have just seen Luke Garbutt has signed a pro contract with you, and as i went to school with him, I was just wondering how you rate him and if he'll make it in the future, from what i remeber of him he was a fantastic player thanks.
 

He looks like a decent prospect for us, in 2-3 years who should be ready to play as Baines back-up and we'll see where he will go from there.
 
Saw him really closely when moyes put out all youngsters against bate was it at home and he really really impressed me
He seemed quick,loved getting forwards and was looking mature

Hope he makes the cut

Gartbutt didn't play against BATE as far as I remember. Jake Bidwell played at left back. Think Garbutt was on the bench but didn't play.

Have heard big things about the kid. Certainly supposed to be one of the brighter youth prospects.

And if I remember right Bidwell looked a bit out of his depth, but the lad is only young, plenty of time to mature.

Garbutt seems to be doing well. Playing for the reserves tonight after having what seemed like a great game against United U18's three days ago. Good to know we have someone coming up after Leighton Baines when he inevitably gets sold to Real Madrid.
