BBC Sport explores how the relationship between Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi and the club's fans has fallen apart, with Inter's ultras saying the club's captain is "dead" to them.

The fall-out comes after Icardi suggested in his autobiography that he could have them "killed on the spot".

Welcome Icardi!
Never seen him but his name sounds like Bacardi, it's a yes from me.

Imagine trying to find a striker capable of scoring 25 premier league goals..

Then imagine even if we did manage to find one ( we won't ) that would only get us into 7th based on this season! Never mind trying to improve past the top six!!

Then imagine next season when we lose 25 goals and what position we'd be

I would absolutely love to run out and sign some young world beater such as:
Kelechi Iheanacho
Kasper Dolberg
Antonio Sanabria
Angel Correa
Luciano Vietto
Arkadiusz Milik
Sandro Ramirez Castillo

However,

The whole Lukaku situation has had me so sick the past couple years (with him dogging the club anytime someone puts a mic near him), that even if we could lure in one of the boys named above I'd only be happy with the signing if they loved the club like us supporters do.

so with that said,

I wouldn't be upset with Jamie Vardy & Shane Long types if we could sign them cheaply. Older gents that can contribute 10 - 15 goals a piece; and provide mentorship for teenagers Ademola Lookman and Dominic Calvert Lewin. I can see both getting behind Koeman's brand of high pressing, team orientated football.

I'd even be okay with taking a flyer on Danny Ings and the odds of him staying healthy for a spell; again if the cost is right.

Overall, I just want to see Everton do what's right for the club, and what helps us win matches; but, id like to see them do it with total team football, and not these over-glorified, media darling hotshots that value the name on the back of the kit more than the crest on the chest.

Can anyone else relate or am I just dreaming of something that doesn't exist in today's footall?

Batschuyi why would he come here? Who thinks of these stupid threads

Costa highly likely to leave so why would he go?

Although lukaku leaving has always been a worry ever since he signed his new contract, it is nevertheless still a major setback for the club. We are struggling to attract players to the club as it is, what message are we sending out to prospective targets that we are willing to let our best player leave the club. The wrong message imo.

If you are talking about Batshuayi..... then why wouldn't he come here?

Costa is not likely to leave as said last week that he would only go from Chelsea to AM and they have have a transfer ban so not likely to leave and with Lukaku likely to go to Chelsea then Batshuayi will be certain to move on.

Moussa Demble and Iheanacho.

With DCL and Lookman providing options.

Definitely agree with these two, they are probably two of the better players we can hope for at this moment and they still have plenty of room to grow into top strikers. Knowing our luck however Iheancho will jib us off for the Hammers and Dembele will stay where he is for "champions League football"...
