Its almost pointless throwing a cross in when you have Lukaku in there because its pretty much a lucky dip. You either have to hope for a horrendous mistake from the lad marking him or the cross has to be pin point accurate.

Just watching the Man City game yesterday and watching Kane and Aguero off the ball. Kane is constantly looking to make slanting runs and will create space for himself. Aguero is one of the best in the game with his movement. His goal yesterday was an example.

Oh by no means do I think Lukaku is a world beater when it comes to movement for crosses... However he makes plenty of runs in behind but we don't have any player who can pick him out. Several people seem to agree if we had a playmaker behind him rather than Naismith or Barkley (Barkley isn't a number 10, at least not in the same mould as the Silva/Eriksen type).

His heading from long-balls isn't great, but we shouldn't be aiming for his head for that reason, same way when he does win it, nobody is near him anyway! Our last home game he won his fair share but every time he did nobody moved around him!

He'd have 25 this season easily if he had some decent service, double the decent service with improved movement in the box from him and I think he'd have 30 in all competitions.
 
I love the fella, player of the year for me, I don't want him on pens though..........It's only a matter of time before he steps up in a huge game and it all goes pear shaped once the pressure is on.

Long way to go before he gets to the ELITE level he claims to be on the road to.

When he drives at the defence or even on the shoulder he is good, certainly not a target man though, Benteke showed us what a target man looks like. Would love Benteke & Lukaku starting for us !

We can dream.....

Most prem strikers never get to this current 21 year old Lukaku level, so I would rather turn the negative on its head.

Its a game of opinions mate but alot of people i know dont see Lukaku as many on here do. We do forget he is 21/22 at times because he has been around a few years already, there is a reason he has got Riola as his agent, same reason Zlatan and others have Riola, he is a big ego agent for the big ego player. Even though he scored please get him off penalties !
