Not really. It was our money, we were willing to part with it to get the guy we wanted. We knew we weren't buying the complete striker and it would take a while.

Still we could have bought sexy sexy Wilfy Bones.
*fumes*

Bony the guy I wanted chelsea to replace lukaku with.... However, remy is a good option b

"Replace?"

He played 10 games for you mate.

(yeah I know the script. Not good enough, we paid too much, we are a small club, etc etc)

Did you enjoy your days in the Second Division a few years back? Had an ace side then.

You guys are too sensitive.

Kind of like lukaku.

“Romelu was always clear that in his mentality and his approach he was not highly motivated to come to a competitive situation at Chelsea,” “He wanted to play for Chelsea, but clearly only as first-choice striker - and at a club of our dimension it’s very difficult to promise a player that status. That reduced immediately his desire to come to us. After that, Everton came with an important offer and because we want to be inside financial fair play rules, you have to analyse these situations.”

Jose didnt even take a second to consider whether lukaku was worthy of his time.

Anyone 'pro' lukaku is watching a different player to me. Yeah he's young and he can learn certain things, but you can't learn how to control a football after a certain age. You can't learn how to jump for a header at the right time either.

Naismith wins more headers than lukaku because he is trying to win the ball, lukaku jumps for a header because he feels he has to. You can see the difference in intent.

People also say lukaku likes to be running through on goal, and this is his best asset. I'm sorry but you ask any centre forward and they would love to have one on ones as well. It's no excuse.

We are just getting a bit bored of other teams fans doing us all a favour and bestowing their wisdom upon us.

At chelsea, when mata was sold, people made oscar the scapegoat
No. Just dont appreciate someone who has "supported" Chelsea for 2 minutes popping in and educating us about football.

Actually, all I initially said was my assessment of lukaku, not on everton the team.

You are the ones that overreacted, however, its normal. the chelsea forum was like that when mata got sold and to some degree david luiz.

As the season progresses along with his high price tag, more fans will grow frustrated at lukaku.

Lukaku can score goals, but as a team player and his overall game, he is really overrated.

You can take it as jealously from a chelsea fan or you can take it as a proper analysis on a former chelsea player
