At chelsea, when mata was sold, people made oscar the scapegoat

Actually, all I initially said was my assessment of lukaku, not on everton the team.

You are the ones that overreacted, however, its normal. the chelsea forum was like that when mata got sold and to some degree david luiz.

Maybe so, but we have had quite a few fans off "big" clubs telling us this and that.

And to be fair, your initial assessment of Lukaku was quite frankly, laughable.

But Chelsea then. Your assessment of their Second Division days would be fascinating.

As the season progresses along with his high price tag, more fans will grow frustrated at lukaku.

Lukaku can score goals, but as a team player and his overall game, he is really overrated.

You can take it as jealously from a chelsea fan or you can take it as a proper analysis on a former chelsea player

How about ken monkou

remember him

O, i just joined the forum last night, so I wasn't aware of that...

apologiez than
We welcome fans of any team, but as long as they're not on the wind up.

Coming on and immediately baiting us (admittedly with some valid points) about an out of form player while we're on a bad run may not have been the best start.

Fair point.

However, this was my initial full statement.

Lukaku is built on immense physical attributes.

He won't be able to bully past defenders forever and martinez knows this...

You guys got shafted by chelsea and the money spent on lukaku should of went to another cm and cb

Honestly, eto is a better cf than lukaku is right now

I think people are just being sensitive to the 3 line, moreso than the assessment of lukaku tbh. It's ok, chelsea got shafted by liverpool with torres as well and a lot others.

Hiya mate.

Where in South Korea are you from?

Do you live near the Ji Sung Park?

No. We are not arsed about line 3 at all. It is that all of it is garbage.

I simply disagree with points 2, 3, and 4.

He's a physically well built lad, and that's not gonna disappear, actually, when what pace he has runs out in 10 years, this will be his main attribute.

We needed a striker better than what we had, and you simply have to pay the going rate. We certainly haven't had a similar experience to the Chelsea/Torres transfer - that was being screwed.

None of our players are turing up, so no one is better than the others at the moment and we all know it.

When his pace leaves, like Torres, than what? You saw what happen to a pacey torres and a not so pacey one.
At Chelsea, they wanted him to play like drogba. Holding the ball up, linking up play and making solid runs and providing space. However, Torres' game never was built on those things, similar to Lukaku.

And the other differenc was that chelsea won a fa cup, champs league, and a europa league during that time span.

Lukaku is a goalscorer.

This season he's being asked to hold up the ball and link play = not his game.

His all round game is being developed

Chelsea will bid 60mil for him in 3 seasons when he becomes Drogba.

We will reject the bid as we storm to the title playing tiki taka.

Torres' game (during his impressive run at Liverpool) was greatly helped by Xavi Alonso and Gerrard supplying him. He lost that service at Chelsea and went on a really bad run while there.

I assumed we were talking about individual players here, rather than club honours - I feel we may trump you on league titles mate.
