I watched lukaku very closely last night and pretty much summed up why we are in a relegation battle. Watch it back to see why.


when we attack we dont look to get the ball to our striker. In fact none of our attack is geared to play to him. We pass it about each other with no plan on how to get the ball to him and as a result not creating the chances. When the likes of kev and ross get the ball there has to be some idea in their head of where is rom going to run to now? What pass do i need to make? How am i going to get the ball to his feet? There none of that.

It literally leaves Rom running back and forth out of the game watching the players behind him pass it amongst themselves. Until we have a game plan that includes our striker then we arent going to beat teams, which means we are really going to struggle.

Genuinely what was the point in Roberto investing so much money into Lukaku if he had no intention of setting the team up to get the best out of him? Danny graham or Kenwin jones could do what lukaku's job is in our team, hell even anichebe did it better than him last night. Give the ball to him in the box with a shot on or chance to run at defenders and he looks as good as he actually is and defenders panic.
