I think people saying "oh cause no one is in for him"

Are doing the changes going on at Everton a massive disservice and will eventually realise that its everton holding all the cards and not being bullied by anyone.

Good things are happening off the pitch.

Were starting to act how we should act, like a big club

We know all this.

But you ignore that big clubs sell big players all the time if the right offer comes in- Ronaldo to Madrid, this mooted move for Pogba. We could be ultra massive but if someone offered us what we want for Lukaku (and we've said our price, we've not moved) then we'd sell - as any club would.

We've not said "you aren't for sale" - if we were City rich we could replace him three top strikers anyway - we've said "don't bother trying to force a move, it's £60m+ or honour that massive contract".

This idea that us laughably non-ITK people couldn't possibly comprehend the changes happening at Everton- when in fact everyone is bouncing off the walls happy already except my main buddy @KUEFC09U2 and young Finners - is just you stroking your own deranged ego. We know. We can just see a player and agent hedging their bets as things haven't quite turned out how they hoped.

Sounds like there is a showdown and Rom lost. All you had to see was that goal against IRE where he was given the ball directly in front of the GK to re-experience his Everton ways....I fell asleep waiting for him to get the ball on his foot and shoot. A full three steps when only a kick was required. He's a bull in front of the net no doubt, but to compete with the top world clubs, his running, trapping or shooting will have to quicken. I would LOVE to see him go to a big club....just not in the PL. There is always the chance someone could coach him up....

Well said mate.

I reckon The Mosh has "NSNO" tattooed across his fingers.

I knew he'd end up having to stay after that Italy game.

Exactly.

A goal or two that night and he'd have been in every chief scout's dream list.

But he came up against world class defenders and came up, for now, short. On that display only PSG would dole out the £65m had it been pre-agreed but nothing was forthcoming. He's a brilliant player for us, I'm delighted should he stay, but to suggest he is in thrall to the idea we might get back to our rightful place and Raiola has been piped down is fanciful.

Raiola will back off, the club will add several tens of thousands of fun tokens to a contract and a big re-signing fee and everyone gets to save face. I think we'll probably also shop at least once from Raiola's client list.

There's no doubt that big things are happening.

I think it's also true that no one is in for him. Between him, his agent & dad, they've made him look a bit of a dick. Particularly naming teams.... Like ManU for instance. Unless Mourinho has had a massive change of heart, he'll be sayin no chance!

Munich, Chelsea, PSG..... He's good, but he's got a LOT of work to do before he could be considered in real top class.

Clubs are not deciding on which players to sign based on the Euros, certainly not well established very expensive players.

All the top clubs in Europe will know exactly what Lukaku is all about. A club may take a chance on a young player from a lesser known nation as we did with Besic but their targets generally will have been decided weeks or months in advance.

It makes the behaviour of Lukaku and his agent all the more strange because even his greatest Everton supporters didn't really believe that he was good enough for the elite European clubs and also that no club was going to pay huge money for him.

I do wonder about this tbh, yeah you can probably train your first touch to an extent with repetition, but generally I always see a lot of these things as natural ability.

Given that these guys kick balls a shed load more than the most of us who have 1 kick-about per week, it makes me think that anything they are lacking naturally in the control/quickness of feet area is not going to come to them any time soon.
