In 143 games for his new club, he has scored 27 goals and managed a huge 44 assists, including 16 of the latter in Serie A last term.

Currently valued at £45m (Transfermarkt), his performances were compared to those of Lionel Messi earlier this year.

Everton were able to sign James Rodriguez during the recent summer transfer window, but given Alberto’s better form in recent years, this would arguably be an even bigger coup for Everton.

It remains to be seen whether he makes the move to Goodison Park.

I haven't seen him play mate but it looks like he's been a top player at Lazio if you go by his stats, he's played 143 games for them, scored 27 goals, had 44 assists in those 143 games, and last season he had 16 assists.
