Phil Neville's the closest thing we have to a tough tackling midfielder so I'd expect him to play in midfield once he returns. He's not the long term option by any means but he's a leader and in terms of reliability and positional sense he's a better option than the three playing there at the moment.

Moyes has signed Heitinga, Neill and also has Hibbert available so he has alot of cover back there at right back. Basically, get Neill at right back, Neville in midfield and Jagielka at centre back and we'll be a far more competitive side and alot more difficult to beat.

We need to get Pienaar and Bilyaletdinov consistently playing in the same side now, it's a must with Arteta out. I hope that's the case after the Spurs game.

All of the above.

We know we've got options with everyone fit.

But where's Heitinga going to fit in? Maybe Im just a bit misty eyed over him, but I think he'll be class for us played in the right position. Just dunno where.

He looks a good centre back and uses the ball very well, his distribution both long and short is very impressive. I just wouldn't have him over Jagielka and Distin.

He's definitely god a good shout at right back, we'll have to wait and see really.

Heitsy can't be god as well as Arteta mate, make your mind up.

But if Neill is first choice right back (presuming a lot) where does Big Johnny fit in?

The joys of having a squad. Johnny & Jagielka at CB. Distin and Jags etc etc.

We have options now as long as they avoid injuries.

It is what we want, isn't it?

How did he play tonight???
I've been out all night. He did seem to be quality on Sunday, even though he has hardly played this season

great game I suppose. His range of passing and vision is impressive. Good defensive quality as well.
Best free transfer by Moyes.
