As soon as Bernard came on Digne livened up on the left. I think Iwobi likes to play a ball into the centre rather than the typical 1-2 that him & Berny do. That will need some work if Iwobi is now 1st choice. Digne can make different runs if Iwobi is passing inside but the understanding isn't there yet. Something to work on but i like that Iwobi is passing into the forwards.

He played poor mate. Once in a blue moon so I don't think today is a reflection of his overall quality.

He didn’t cover himself in glory defensively against Lincoln. And then scored a worldie. It’s a pattern i’ve seen throughout last season. Defensively, he can 100% be got at.

People trying to make out Adama Traore is some kind of world class winger, don’t be daft. About as one dimensional as it gets, would have been snuffed out no problem by smarter LB’s.

I don't think anyone has said Traore is world class. He has pace, he used it well and gave Digne a torrid match. It happens.

The lad is absolute quality

This game summed him up for me. Great cross for the winner but was always vulnerable defensively.
Yeah Digne wasnt crap, he was mismatched with that dolf lundgren mo fo...musclebound but as fast as a whippet...very unusual for a prem player....Digne dealt with him better than Baines in his prime would of...sometimes genetics ain't fair.

Traore while not a top top player on his day with his pace and strength can give anyone a game,i'm more thankful we controlled the match and so stopped them getting him the ball otherwise he was on it today.
