It's cruel to say but we have found it easy to replace Baines because of him. When you consider how good Leighton has been for us for so long, there isn't a better compliment you could give Digne.

Dont care too much what they think. Have seen some great Everton sides and on Sunday they looked something like one. I dont know why they think Utd are amazing. Ferguson was a blip. They are one of a group of big clubs but far from the best anymore.

United did have a blip with Ferguson but it wasn't like it was a blip from irrelevance. They went from being one of the 5 or so best to the best period for about 20 years. The thing is those 20 years coincided with the league and money exploding so United basically can never fall that far again. Its the opposite of Everton who of course had their worst period at this time.

Despite all this Lucas Digne is the best LB in the league and plays for Everton.

Nah, seems really settled here. New family and lots of love from the fans. With all the 'big' moves he's had around Europe already, i get the feeling he'll be happy to stay long term.
