Even if he flew out the deal could still happen anyways I suppose. Contract Dave can fly out, once the deal gets sorted Digne can fly in for his medical. Until he signs he's got to do his job, business as usual.

Just because he “seems like the worst” of a list of four players doesn’t mean he is only average. Bear in mind, one of the players you mention isn’t a left back. One of them plays in Scotland so could actually be completely jarg. And the other plays for a worse team than Digne so would have a better chance of being first choice.

I'd rather have Tierney, but Digne is the next best option IMO
