Are you suggesting we shouldn't call out players when they play badly or question and critique the managers tactics?

Because I feel you can still be critical while also still supporting the team

I feel that's my right, as it is the right of anyone who goes to the match or sets aside 90 minutes of their life to watch the match on the Tele or internet
I agree mate.

But there's being critical and then there's being a bellend and there's far too much of the latter at the moment.

I think the way we are playing, the system, our results, the general demeanor and attitude of the coach and players is less then perfect.
It may be a chicken and / or egg thing, but it starts at the top, the Capt. not the deck hands
If it starts at the top and it always does, then the action needs to be taken at the top

If that makes me a knee jerking fair weather fan so be it.

In that case it's no wonder my knees are 'gone' since I've been jerking them in all this fair weather since 1960.

I have given you a "like" but it doesn't mean I support every sentiment in you post, Allez.

You are spot on in saying that there are many round these parts never liked Bobby to begin with and are relishing his current travails.

But there are also many of our friends on here who are expressing a heartfelt opinion about the utter shambles on the field at the moment and that doesn't make them any less Blue than you and me.

:)

But 34 likes.....that is awesome, lid ;)

Good stuff, Khalekan. While I support Bobby, I think the assumption that anyone who wants him sacked is somehow less of an Everton supporter is a bit ridiculous. We're supposed to be a big club, and a horrific run like this would raise massive questions in any club of our stature. My gut is telling me that we should stand by our manager and that he deserves some time, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a lot of new reservations about his ability to get us out of this. We could very well lose three or four games on the trot after which I might reassess my opinion on the matter, meaning the only difference between me and say, Del, is a few weeks.

It's normal to be critical of the manager and his tactics when things aren't going well - doesn't make you any less of a blue.

Behaving like some people on the forum are (on both sides of the argument might I add) does make you a prized tit though.

Its been nearly all season though in the league.
I think confidence is an issue now but the tactics are killing us
The tactics are killing us because we have a confidence issue. He needs to steady the ship, play a high energy team even if its one with less skill and try and win ugly. Trying to play our way out of this is suicide because as soon as we conceed the confidence drops again and we look far to easy to beat.
