The post by the OP is infuriatingly disrepectful but I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting it after we've been knocked out of the FA Cup, get beaten by City, struggle against the new managers of West Brom and Palace, lose the derby and lose to Chelsea.

Nothing I've seen lately suggests that run will go any other way, but of course, I'm a Kopite for thinking this way and not being blindly optimistic about the future.

Perhaps if we had shown even the faintest signs of fight lately I could pull the wool over my eyes but unfortunately the reality is far too strong at the moment.

I think it's becoming increasingly clear that a lot of people around the club and around this forum aren't maybe as blue as they paint themselves.

I think a lot of people decided that martinez wasn't for them and rather than change their opinion as he did better (and hands up, I used to hate him but I don't see how admitting you were wrong when thigns change is a weakness) have set their stall up. The worst thing in the world is to be wrong on the itnerent so if you said bobby wasn't up for it, well better hope bobby wasn't up for it.

I think a lot of our so called supporters are enjoying us being bad, relishing our bad form because it allows them to prove themselves right in their doubts.

If you didn't rate howard and distin and osman, you get to blame them for sabotaging bobby. if you didn't want martinez in, you get to blame him for upsetting our players.

This isn't everton and I dodn't think people who are so eager to see us lose so they can stick knives in (to either side) are really evertonians.

True blues get behind our team and that includes both our manager and our players.

We're in bad form and it's not acceptable but this night of the long knives, bad apple hunting, stuff is beneath us.

If you want Martinez sacked or half our squad sacked based on 4 bad games, maybe you're not supporting the right club.

Are you suggesting we shouldn't call out players when they play badly or question and critique the managers tactics?

Because I feel you can still be critical while also still supporting the team

I feel that's my right, as it is the right of anyone who goes to the match or sets aside 90 minutes of their life to watch the match on the Tele or internet

It's a confidence issue not a lack of desire or not playing for the manager.

Unfortunately the way Roberto plays requires everyone to show for the ball and this doesn't happen when low on confidence.

He needs to drop Barry, play Besic and McCarthy and become hard to beat even if that means playing more direct. Once that happens the confidence will come back.

Its been nearly all season though in the league.
I think confidence is an issue now but the tactics are killing us

Massively behind ??!

Christ he mentions the manager once.

Anything but imho.

three of the Mutiny plotters caught attempting to seduce the ref into joining up forces to topple Mr Martinez

in all seriousness I think he has lost the dressing room but I don't think they are plotting ought against him think they have lost faith in his team selection/tactics which tbf so have a lot of fans.
