I'd say its his confidence....

BUT he's 33. He cant be our main striker in all fairness and I think the pressure has got to him to get goals - hence with him snatching ever shot his has and panicking.

He's still one the best footballers on our books and I still think he needs movement around him...but he's done at the club.

I've said it before though...he'll be gone in May and we'll be left with Vellios, Cahill, Anichebe as our strikers...

Players will be sold.

It's looking increasingly like Saha should see out the season as a supersub. Drenthe behind Straq looks like our most promising combination, so that he can run on to his flick ons like he did against Wigan.

play him Saturday and if he doesn't score take him out onto goodison road, shoot him and send his fancy booted remains back to France. Allez les blues.

King Louis has announced his retirement today, I will always remember that goal at Wembley and how we almost did it.....

Also on an away day to West Ham in 2008, when he scored 2 goals in a 1-3 result that we snatched from them. He made West Ham look like a pubs side for about 10 minutes, which was long enough for him to grab his goals and for us to get all 3 points, it made the 6 hour coach journey home, slightly more bearable! :)

So boss that day at West Ham. He was outrageous for a spell as you say.

4 years too late if you ask me...

Also, almost did it?

What game did you watch?

We basically started the game with a 1-0 advantage and Never, at any point, looked like we would win it...

I loved the king....forgetting his last poor 6 months, which was bad but on his day was un-playable and twice as good as anything we have now.

Should of moved a few years before he did, an absolutely cracking player but made of glass and not suited to the hard working Moyes style.

Always thought he was extremely grateful to Moyes for rescuing him and stayed loyal when really he should have moved on to a team suited more to his skills.

Remember watching his last seasons his face a picture of despair as long balls pinged over his head - didn't moan though.

Thanks for being so special ...... KING LOUIE
