I am a bit miffed about this loan. He has gone to a better team than us but I would have preferred him to have gone to another premier team or Championship team to get use to the hustle and bustle and speed. Alladyce must not really rate him but apart from the cameo against Liverpool and the euro dead rubber it's difficult to disagree.

just 40 mins ago. Did we do the deal without allardyce knowing? Do players need to travel to the country for a medical etc for a loan? surely they do? and if so, surely we'd have heard he was going to germany? very very odd move. Although a very good one for him. Again, the same as sandro and klaassen, how much are they actually going to play? I understand the other two on big wages and not getting on the bench being shipped out, but why lookman? Just because lard arse doesn't fancy him?

I reckon he'll gets some games there, Forsberg has had injury troubles for a bit, so Brouma and Sabitzer are the only 2 fit wide men, plus he can play more central too i think? His versitility should see him play some games, Hasenhüttl isn't afraid of throwing in youngsters. Good league for him to learn.
