Sterling said: "The coaching staff that you see around football clubs: there's Steven Gerrard, your Frank Lampards, your Sol Campbells and your Ashley Coles. All had great careers, all played for England.

"At the same time, they've all respectfully done their coaching badges to coach at the highest level and the two that haven't been given the right opportunities are the two black former players.

Is Sterling right?

It could just be the case they’re not as promising managers though. I think it’s odd he thinks it’s down to race alone. Does he know Sol Campbell is as proficient at managing as Frank Lampard?

Hes got a problem with every protest. He wants the military in the streets in my city and state.

People are mostly just protesting and walking the streets. He doesn't like how they're walking.

You know what he saw? He talked to some friends who wanted military in the streets, then it was well I've been watching live streams and I think the military should be there. Then when that gets called out, it's well tucker carlson said we should have military in the streets and he broadcasts from NY.

Then he has the nerve to bring up Latasha Harlins, but never give context.

He lives tens of thousands of miles away but he knows better than you.
Ah sorry should have clarified, "mean mugs" or was it a typo? Just never heard of that before.

It's just American slang I guess. My apologies for the misunderstanding. Maybe it's not even just American, just a way some us talk.

By mean mug I mean someone you can feel looking at you with hostility, disapproval, or just unfriendly. Like you know how to mug someone means to rob them. Like a mean mug is just an unfriendly look.

It's the look before you get robbed. Not accusing him of that but in a broader translation, if you're walking down the street and someone is looking at someone the wrong way. You'll be like why is that guy mean mugging you? It's not slang that goes into a literal translation like why is that guy about to rob you.

It's just like why'd that guy look so displeased at your presence?

I can't tell you what they are going to do because I don't know, all I know is people have said that they are going to try and stop it possibly happening?

Edit; Look what happens when you stop writing like a 13 year old. You get an answer.
Nearly 2am, so I'm off to bed.
If you don't use social media, and you don't leave the house b/c of lockdown, how do you know about this?

Did Billy Bright give you a bell on the mobby, geezer?

London football fans have got together and If they again try and do damage to other British memorials on Saturday they are going to come up against people who won't be retreating or holding back like the police have.

You mean that little rat Tommy and a few of his racist mates have decided they are going to go and heckle black people? They had a go on Saturday and were found wanting.

I'm sure we will have a bunch of tough cases from Exeter gobbing off about how hard and fashionable they are. Should be fun.

As a final adie, if I were to go, I'd probably go and stand by the Churchill statue, but certainly wouldnt not near a gang of fascists who patently hate black people.

The irony of football hooligans being annoyed at organised violence.

It's hooligans from certain clubs as well. If they tried to rock up in Liverpool, they'd be bounced out very quickly. Can you imagine scruffs from Plymouth, Exeter and Colchester trying to take liberties here? I really hope the thick inbreds take the bait about the Shankly statue and go and protect that, they'd end up getting lynched!

They protected the statue in Plymouth, which nobody went to, and nobody went near. They knew all of that and it wasn't the point. They resorted to hurling racist abuse at none white people walking past and harassment towards women who were walking past as well. Thats essentially the point of this, they're not bothered about statues, they are angry black people re peacefully protesting against racism (they don't care about the violent behaviour as thats how they behave so why would they?) and want to attack them.

Lets hope they are met with sufficient retaliation by the Met police if they try any similar stunts on Saturday. Clearly people are very angry about the levels of racism we are witnessing, and the last thing we need are a gang of dangers coming to inflame the situation. Chuck them in a police cell and get their hard drives would be my advice.

Everyone.

What do you "everyone". Everton won't be turning up. Our club have already made clear we stand in full solidarity with the Black Live Matters protests. If some goon from Exeter wants to go and attack that march, he will be treated as someone making a direct attack on Everton Football Club.

I remember when we had these promises about coming to Liverpool. They rocked up with the nonciest looking bloke I've ever seen, insulted the city, called it a sh1hole, legged it and hid up a tree before mouthing off. Most of the mouthing off was done to women as well. Proper hard nuts them though.

How are they going to "stop it happening"? What impact do you think having a bunch of racist knobheads, with a fella who refers to black people as "savages" as centrally involved, who accused a peaceful protests in Black Lives Matter as the most racist organisation Britain has ever seen is going to do to protect those statues? It's going to antagonise people, and probably lead to a flashpoint where more people attack the statues.

They are partially the reason we are in this mess. The police have had a softly softly approach with them for too long, and have been given too much of a platform on the media to spew their racist drivel. As a society if we had avoiding giving them such a platform we could have potentially avoided some of the violence we have witnessed. They are scum who need locking up so they don't start intimidating young women.

Sol Campbell is a moron - blames all his shortcomings on the fact he is black.

Who needs the police when you’ve got a bunch of middle aged geezers with bulldog tattoos and Union Jack flags in their bios to guard the statues, that is unless it coincides with their weekly supervised visit to see their kids, then the statues are at the mercy of the baying mob

He conveniently forgets that because being a football manager is a very stressful job, that perhaps he hasn’t got a top manager job because during a game, at half time he decided to get dressed and then disappeared with nobody from he’s club being able to contact him for a day or two.
There was genuine concern about his mental state at this time and concerns that he may have taken he’s own life.

Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with that though?
