Your great grandparents probably were racist as was a lot of people. I know my great nan was racist god rest her soul. They literally rioted and attacked black people saying they had taken their jobs. Not sure how more racist you want it to be. Oh but people won't admit that , this country was racist for hundreds of years , slaughtering Africans simply to occupy their land. It’s been pretty timid rioting in London tbh, seen worse at football matches including our match against Millwall not long ago. All a bit overhyped imo, especially compared to the Mark Duggan riots a few years back or what’s been happening across the pond.
