It is obvious that this individual was already known to the authorities. How else do you explain his capture without the help of the public?

You are really dumbing down the anti terror agencies if you think that they don't know those who are plotting and chatting to ISIS.

The government need to give the relevant authorities the power to remove these people off our streets before they get the opportunity to carry out their plans.

The people who disagree may as well support terrorism and those that carry it out.
Actually you are the one advocating terrorism, you are just too ignorant to realise it

Please stop with the hyperbole. No one here--even those who are arguing with you on GOT or in the pub--would ever support the bombing of a tube station.

Please refrain from making this statement about me or I may end up having to sue.

Wow, did you learn that from your mentor Tommy Robinson?

There will potentially be numerous elements that they will have have used to identify and then trace their suspect from the incident to Dover.

Also, who exactly has said that the public hasn't assisted the investigation?

No way to live your life that mate. I was on the tube last night and wasn't worried at all. Think about it. There's an estimated 5 million journeys done on the tube each day, or nearly 2 billion a year if you prefer. The chances are much less of anything happening there than me being knocked off my bike above ground. Likewise with London Bridge. I make a point of having any business meetings I've got to have in that area. It's perfectly safe, and the vast majority of people are perfectly friendly. You can't let a minuscule minority spoil your life.

Often think life is so safe these days compared to even when I was kid in 80s and 90s.
What is it something like 10 people die a month in domestic violence in the UK alone, that's something to worry about as well but rarely gets coverage, unless it involves a pretty face etc.

The younger generations forget that we experienced terrorism on the mainland throughout the 1970s to the 1990s, so this isn't anything new.

You're an utter plank.

Don't actually think it's younger generations more a broad spectrum of ages being mischievous in promoting their narrative, these acts are certainly not bothering my kids doing stuff or going places.
Ancedotally, in some weird over dramatic comedic moments in disciplining the younger ones, I'm often referred as the ISIS disciplinarian, all for blocking their IP address.
