Even if you've benefitted from the tax cut, you've probably lost more from stock market drop.

Over the course of the year my shares are down around 15%, which as they're a hedge against work drying up isn't ideal.

Suffice to say, I'm sure other people are in a lot hotter water so I'm not here to gripe. If I was retiring this year though, which presumably many would ordinarily be doing, then I dare say their pot might have taken a hit.

I think everyone, where they've done what is expected of them from a Conservative Government - invest, develop savings, own property, increase wealth - should have a legitimate gripe with the Tories.

My girlfriends went down 260k from last November.
I have a frozen pension that goes up ,either 2.35% or inflation, which ever is the greater went up 5.77%over a period and will be over that next year.
Nothing much in it really only get about £50 a week out of it , if I take it.
