Once murdochs cretins get wind that their stooges arent winning the next GE they'll be pushing for labour to step in and 'clean the slate'. the problem being one term isnt enough even if all things go well, which they very much wont. the scorched earth policy that is about to unfold will be the kind of thing thatcher could only dream of, so when in opposition the scum can lambast labour for not being able to put the fires out...

The only conclusion I have is that you'd have to be stupid, incredibly narcissistic or insane to want the job at the moment ... or probably all 3.
