Generalisations and hate speech are never valid points.
Interesting... im pretty sure the forum mods actually encourage that in the EU thread regarding brexit.
I'm not, I just think it's ridiculous that people aren't allowed an opposite opinion on here

This post was reported a lot of times.

Initially, I thought 'well, that's his opinion' and rather than remove your access to this platform you've enjoyed since 2008, I'd have instead highlighted how ridiculous a claim that is.

But now - I won't waste my time as very quickly you admit;

I'll admit I didn't read most.

Says it all.

If I was you, I wouldn't post on a forum for 13 years with moderators who encourage hate speech and so, please find another platform.

What’s the story here.
Did the taxi driver become aware of what was about to happen and lock the terrorist in the cab to stop wider harm?

If so the Taxi driver deserves an award for bravery.

Bravo brave sir.

To the terrorist… you got what you deserved too. I hope it hurt.

IMO the explosive device was timed to go off at 11am. I don't think the hospital was the target - I think it was the service at the cathedral. For whatever reason the trip was delayed (possibly traffic). I'm guessing that the bomber either told the driver he had a bomb or the driver twigged it.

Either way heading to a hospital seems like a pretty reasoned response at that stage.

Just my thoughts btw

First thing the taxi driver knew about the bomb was when it went off. The locking doors stuff never happened. Hope he makes a full recovery though.

I know what you mean Fred but that toxic character needed sorting last night, it's a very emotive subject and unfortunately it will get heated at times, though things do appear to have settled this morning thankfully.
When I came on I read 2 pages of posters arguing about whether you should believe social media. What started as a news thread about a dreadful event has turned into a political argument. It may have been inevitable but that doesn't make it right.

Thought the same but then someone said he could have locked the doors internally first which is very valid.

Apparently they wanted to go to the cathedral, then to womens when they couldn't so alarm bells would have been ringing.

Taxi driver would have known something wrong.

Cant blame Muslims/Islam as a whole but Western Europe needs to change tactic on how it fits multiculturalism into their societies.

Mate of mine from school is a muslim and was the only one allowed to sit out of Religious Education studies when we were learning about other religions (assuming from his parents) when for me thats counter productive.
