They probably will have been on the watch list, the problem is until they commit a crime I'm sure theirs not much they can do about it.

Seems pretty backwards way of doing things in a broader perspective.

Having a watch list and waiting for them to do something illegal before you take action.

Theres like 64 million people in this country not on a watch list! If someone is on a watch list there is a good reason to be.

100% this, especially the gofundme stuff. If people really want to give this bloke a fiver, at least wait until what he did becomes publicly known and his identity (and those of his fundraisers) confirmed.

Liam Thorp is a really good reporter.
