Newcastle win this. The scope for a dodgy decision for the Establishment Club narrows dramatically in a cup final beamed live around the globe.

Newcastle are at least this Liverpool team's equals.

A toss up, but that slog last night will see Newcastle edge it on Sunday by the odd goal late on.

I actually preferred Liverpool to win this over Newcastle but after last night and seeing them heartbroken I’m all for Newcastle.

I watched a VAR team disallow a Lukaku goal for Chelsea in the league cup final v that lot was a good yard onside and had daylight in the right direction between them. They’re not above doing anything to make sure their main customers are looked after.

Oh, I wouldn't be amazed at all if they were airlifted to the three handled cup.

Maybe the time is right now though for the story makers of the game (because that's how this industry works: control by competition organisers and officials actively creating stories) to write a new chapter and allow Newcastle to finally win a trophy after all these years. It's the low hanging fruit of football and Liverpool are already champions so they know they've already boxed them off.

The football industry run a soap opera. If Newcastle are in this final in a big way they're safe to allow them to win and make it look like they have an open product to sell rather than operating a closed shop.

I'd love it if Newcastle beat them. Love it.

In fact I'd love to see a car crash of a final between two ill tempered teams and it leads to the infamous first time a milk/coca cola/ caribou cup final has been suspended and both teams kicked out of the competition.

What a choice, I hope Newcastle win but I can't stand the kopite snivelling rats either.
They are the lesser of two evils and I think they have a chance.
I expect them to score 2 at least, it just depends if they can keep out the vermin.
The dogs will get a penalty, of course they will.

If it was Arsenal Chelsea or City absolutely. No chance with this lot, they barely let them lose a league game such is their desperation to keep their punters happy. Will be an easy thing for them to shaft Newcastle, will he forgotten by Sunday evening outside of Tyneside but the sponsors will be happy.
